So yesterday I had a funny thought. When I first moved and started working downtown we would head out to the bars (a little to often) and got to know most of the bartenders, managers etc so could get past most lines and would have our drinks waiting at the bar once we arrived.
What is funny is that the same thing happens to me now at Starbucks. As soon as I walk in my drink order gets called (even if there is a huge line) and is waiting for me when I get up to pay. This is because I have been coming to this place more than then staff do. But I thought that it was a funny thought. There are many regulars that get this same treatment and in a way I thought that it was kinda like the old mans club. Yes I have been coming to the “other office” to much.
